Sara Stridsberg has written a touching story about grief and longing, and about the memory of the one who recently made the world sparkle. Sara Lundberg has illustrated the wolf cubs’ play with coarse oil pastels and captured every breath in the cold winter. The duo’s previous The Summer of Diving was nominated for the August Prize. A picture book “that shines with poetically precise words and images,” wrote the jury.
